3-10 Month Academic Programs

International Students are fully immersed with Canadian students in academic and elective classes encouraging an understanding of Canadian culture and offering an opportunity for students to practice their English skills in a highly interactive environment. When required, instruction and support in English as a Second Language (ELL) is available to students to assist them in achieving English fluency.

We take pride in our small class sizes, ensuring each student receives individual attention. Our dedicated staff and homestay families create a supportive environment, offering a nurturing home away from home. Our advanced curriculum, delivered by experienced teachers recognized nationally in their fields, is designed to equip students for success in their post-secondary education journey.

Since our inception in 2005, we’ve been committed to providing comprehensive support to our students. To ensure linguistic inclusivity, we offer ESL/ELL support at no additional cost. Each of our high schools has International Support teachers exclusively assigned to guide our international students. Learning support teachers are available at every school, further enhancing our commitment to individual attention.

In recognition of the importance of mental wellbeing, we provide mental health counselling services to all our students. Additionally, we offer university application assistance, guiding our students as they take the next step in their academic journey.

Join us at Comox Valley International Student Program, and embark on an enriching journey of self-growth, intellectual exploration, and holistic development.
