DESCRIPTION:Ready for more Snow?  \nMt. Washington Wilderness Adventure and Snow Tubing at Ozone Park on Wednesday\, January 20th! \nWould you like to join us for a day of fun? We will take part in Snowshoe Wilderness Experience in the morning. We will learn what snowshoeing is all about and discover the beauty of the trails while learning more about the great outdoors. After that we will be provided a Bagged lunch at the Raven Lodge. In the afternoon we will be transported back to the Alpine Lodge to the Ozone Snow Tubing Park for an afternoon of fun until we leave the mountain at 3:30pm. \nYou can sign up starting on Monday\, January 11th and registration will be closed by Friday\, January 15 th afternoon. \nYou can Sign up with your ISP Teacher at your school or at our ISP Office at Lake Trail and pay them your Registration Cost for the trip and we will also need to know your shoe size & choices for lunch: \n\nSandwich: Turkey\, Ham & Cheese\, or Vegetarian\nFruit: Apple or Orange\nJuice: Apple or Orange\nDessert: Cookie\, Coffee Crisp chocolate bar or Crispy Crunch chocolate bar\n\nDETAILS: \n\nWe will leave Ricki\’s Parking lot at 7:30am \nWe will leave Mt. Washington at 3:30pm\nArrival at Ricki\’s Parking lot at 4:30pm\nCost $60 per person (includes: Snowshoeing\, lunch\, Tubing) Credit Card $62.40 (4%) Credit Card Form is attached to email.\n\nTo be fully prepared\, please read the following information carefully: \nClothing & Accessories: Appropriate clothing is a must! Below is a checklist of suggested Clothing for those not familiar with the alpine environment. You will be most comfortable if you dress in layers that can be removed or added as necessary. Please ensure that you are prepared for all types of weather. \nRecommended items for ALL Outdoor Activities: \n\n2 pairs of gloves or mitts – MANDATORY\nLong johns or warm tights\nLong sleeve turtleneck or shirt\nThick wool socks or thin synthetic socks\nWarm fleece or sweater\nSki pants or water repellent pants\nWinter Jacket\nWarm hat or Toque\nGoggles and/or Sunglasses\nWarm\, winter boots for All Outdoor Activities\n\nAlpine Safety \nSkiers and Snowboarders are required to know and abide by the rules of the Alpine Responsibility Code (ARC). Violations of this code may result in loss of lift privileges or injury. The ARC is posted in various locations on the mountain and is on the back of the lesson cards. We have attached below a Link of the ARC to allow you to familiarize before you arrive on the Mountain. \nhttps://www.mountwashington.ca/resort/mountain-safety.html#safety \nThe Ski Area Boundaries are marked with ropes and signs\, and also marked on the area maps. Minors (18 or younger) are not permitted to cross these boundaries. Mount Washington Alpine Resort accepts no responsibility for the safety of persons choosing to cross these boundaries. Rescue of out of bounds persons may or may not be possible and should costs arise from rescue operations persons involved may be charged.
