Hornby Island Camping Grade 8/9/10 Students
New International Students in grade 8,9 and 10 will attending Tribune Bay Outdoor Education Centre on Hornby Island. Homestay parents are asked to drop off students at 8:30am in the parking lot behind the Ricky’s Restaurant in Courtenay. Do not be late! The bus will not wait.
What to Bring
Please do not use garbage bags to pack your items.
- Bag lunch for the first day – eat a good breakfast as well!
- Sleeping bag & pillow
- SMALL bag for clothes and toiletries – remember it is only one night and we have limited cargo space!
- (toothbrush, toothpaste, towel, face cloth, comb/brush, soap (in a container)
- Pajamas
- One warm weather outfit – t-shirt, shorts, sandals
- One cool weather outfit – long sleeve shirt, fleece/sweater, long pants, jacket, socks, shoes/runners
- Swim & sun gear – bathing suit, towel, sunscreen, hat
- Flashlight
- Camera
